Last week’s ExchangeWire ATS event went very well. Great conversations all around. We hosted a publisher-only session with Freestar to talk about AI and their use of machine learning to optimize revenue. At ATS, I presented my thoughts on direct-sold and got a great response. Dinner with Freestar and some publishers followed, and we had a great conversation about what was top of mind heading into the second half of the year. Cracking good discussion. It was my second year somehow getting into the AOP awards which is always fun. The Ozone Project crew proved to be great tablemates. 

It was then onto Edinburgh (go ahead and ask me about the trek there!) which was hot. I had to dip into my Cannes clothing just to survive. The location for Base Camp Edinburgh in October is amazing. I’m in love with this city and it’ll be a great venue to get people together. If Base Camp is in your plans, reach out. Now that I’ve seen the venue, I can lock down the agenda. Big news coming!

This week should be the launch of a new podcast with a different format and something we’re going to experiment with. I’m going to try to produce a podcast more frequently and I’m going to ask some questions of all of you. Give it a listen and feel free to submit an audio clip with your take on what is being discussed.
