Several interactions this past week made me feel that I must explain something. I’d rather write about something else, but there is still confusion I need to address. I’m just going to rapid-fire answer some things: I no longer work at or with AdMonsters. It’s been a few years now since I did. I won’t be in Scottsdale in November. I wasn’t the founder of AdMonsters – I joined nine years after it started. Melissa and Nicholas have never worked at AdMonsters, just with AdMonsters on specific events. We love the AdMonsters team and root for them. I’ll show you: here’s a link to their next event. I didn’t even bat an eye doing that. We, Beeler.Tech, have our own events. We also help people with their events. DanAds is a perfect example. We don’t tout half our stuff because it’s either for a client or a community and is invite-only. Beeler.Tech is an actual company and not a hobby. Yes, I basically have two full-time jobs, and they complement each other – that’s why I do it. No, I don’t have an AdMonsters tattoo. I wasn’t the person who climbed the water tower in Sonoma. Yes, in many cases, we are using a “•” instead of a “.”. No, not every event activity I oversee gets lost or has a mishap. Yes, the stories about the boat in Miami are true. No, I’ve never flown to the wrong Portland. Yes, someone did. No, I don’t have a warehouse of jackets, nor do I buy a new one for each event. No, I’m not going to tell you how many I own. No, I don’t take emcee-enhancing drugs – what you see on stage is my normal energy. Yes, there is some person in your life that looks like me. No, I don’t know them. No, there is very little “tech” in Beeler.Tech. Funny enough, we focus more on the people than the tech itself. Beeler.human, however, just does not work. Any other questions?

Oh, because some people don’t read all the way to the end of the newsletter, here’s our 2025 schedule of Beeler.Tech events and collaborations we currently have slated:

The Beeler.Tech Publisher Salary Survey Guide is Here! (finally…whew)

We’re doing something new for 2024. Instead of a one-off static report, we’ve moved to a dynamic dashboard that’ll keep the data fresh. The goal? To give you access to updated numbers year-round. While the format has changed, the goal of the survey hasn’t.

So dive in and let us know what you think.

Check out the 2024 Dynamic Salary Survey here!

(you will need to create an account to access)

You will notice, we are light in some roles/regions. The more data, the better for the community. If you haven’t already submitted what are you waiting for?

People – take the survey please

Managers – submit your entire team salary data

WAAYYYY SOLD OUT! Hotel block is full. Hotel itself is full. Can’t fit more people where we have meals. The breakout rooms are going to be a tight fit as it is. Next step: delivering an amazing event. We have some prep calls coming up this week and next. We need attendees to submit their event surveys by Tuesday (that’s tomorrow).

If you are attending Base•Camp Barcelona, or wish you were, publishers and partners are welcome to attend:

Base•Camp isn’t like other events. We are designed to have the right number of people, not as many people as we can get. This means we do sell out. As important as you may be, we may have to say no if you ask to attend too late. It’s also an advantage to sign up early, as you will get a chance to influence the agenda.

We want to hit the ground running in the new year. Raise your hand if you are going to try to get to Base•Camp. Tell us if you know you’re not coming. The less time we’re chasin’ the more time we have to work on the agenda.
