The Year Ahead
I’ve been making this statement at the last couple of Base•Camps: “there is nothing but hard work left.” My point is there is no more low-hanging fruit for publishers to grow their businesses. I expect the year ahead to be tough for many. That might sound like a downer, but it’s not meant to be. Hard work shouldn’t scare you. If anything, solving hard problems is a career-defining skill you should grow. The key is to not take all of the challenges ahead alone. So when I say things will be hard in the new year but also say I’m excited about it, it’s because I know that we are part of something special. Collaboration is on the rise and we’re happy to be a part of it. To our publishers and our partners, we’re ready to roll up our sleeves and make things better.

We know, we know – for a company that produces events it is ridiculously hard to find our events. My apologies to make it difficult to work with us. I can’t even explain.
