It’s a bulleted-list-of-thoughts type of day:

Base Camp: Technically, we can’t say sold out while waiting for a few publishers to register. If you are still working on approval, please update us today/tomorrow. If you haven’t been in touch, request an invite. Quick agenda update below.
– I’m thinking a lot about sequential liability clauses between SSPs and publishers. We are all taking risks to try to drum up demand to up those CPMs… but if the SSP doesn’t get paid, pubs think they are getting paid…and then they are not. Protect your publisher partners and keep a tight rein on payments, please. #historyneednotrepeatitself
AdTech Economic Forum: Tom refers to it as the “Davos of AdTech,” but perhaps the Super Bowl of AdTech finance might also apply. Look at the lineup below; we aren’t even halfway there!
– You’ll see the first pass of the Navigator NYC speakers below. Lots of names from people you don’t see at every event speaking in an environment where people can participate in the discussion. Registration is about to open. Until then, raise your hand.

Did you see that we are partnering with Press Gazette? We’re excited about what this means for our events and content opportunities.

New Speakers Announced:

Rishad Tobaccowala, best-selling author, speaker, and strategic advisor, will give perspective on what we learn and how we apply it to where we’re going.

Brian O’Kelley, Co-Founder and CEO of Scope3, will discuss the economics of data, clean rooms, data trades, and data value as an asset.

Brian Wieser, Principal of Madison and Wall, will join Tom Triscari, AdTech Economist, Quo Vadis Newsletter, for a conversation about the macroeconomic influences on AdTech, where they’ll examine public versus private perspectives and who the winners and losers are.

The agenda is evolving quickly, and new speakers are added daily. If you’re interested in participating as an attendee, a speaker, or a sponsor, get in touch

Camp.Fire: Direct Sold
February 21 at 1 p.m. ET
While programmatic topics dominate the trades, those who can sell their inventory directly don’t rely on the open marketplace. They focus on making direct sales work better for their customers, more efficiently, and more profitably. Whether IO-based or programmatic direct, publishers need to optimize their processes, tech, and people’s time to ensure the future of their businesses. Camp.Fire will bring together experts in a roundtable discussion about how direct-sold must evolve in 2024.
