I am excited about IAB ALM and everything we have going on. We’ve got so much going on that I decided to post things to LinkedIn so this newsletter doesn’t become a novel. So here are just some of the things that have me stoked: I’m excited at how well Base Camp Amelia Island is coming together. I wrote about it here. I’m excited to announce our collaboration with Tom Triscari at the AdTech Economic Forum on April 24 in New York City. I wrote a short blurb about it here. I’m excited about our virtual Camp.Fire on February 21 at 1 p.m. ET. I wrote about it here. Register here! I’m also excited about Navigator: NYC on May 1 (reg not yet open but request more information), two potential trips to London for Beeler.Tech-related stuff, the return of Digital Day Camp in Toronto, Beeler.Bash on June 4 in NYC, and Cannes. That’s just the first half of the year. Don’t forget about Base Camp Denver and Base Camp Barcelona later in the fall. Base Camp will be the best publisher event in Barcelona this year. I’m excited that out of all of this will come projects and collaborations to improve our industry and publishers’ place in it. Doomsday talk prevails and maybe they’re right. Isn’t it your job to prove them wrong? So yeah, I’m excited. Aren’t you? |
Most of Base Camp Amelia Island will be roundtable discussions led by monetization experts from publishers like Chegg, Dow Jones, Everyday Health Group, Expedia, NASCAR, Netflix, New York Post, PGA TOUR, and more. But, we did leave some room for some keynote presentations. More to announce, but let’s start with these three. Are we close to being sold out? Yup? Might we squeeze you in? Possibly. Request an invite. |
Online Networking, Drop the Capital N Networking online or in person is valuable to your career, but it is easy to get busy with work and life and let it slip. We like to think of networking as an investment in yourself and your community. Melissa had a version of the “networking” conversation a few times in the last month, so she thought it might be useful to share as a post for the larger community. |
